Planning Board schedules Fire Station renovation public hearing

AVON — Planning Board advances Fire Station hearing and zoning review. The board scheduled a public hearing for March 5, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a proposed Fire Station renovation site plan from Coneco Engineering. Charles Comeau, Sr. presided over the four-member board.
In related business, the board agreed to sponsor a Zoning Bylaws amendment addressing the method for determining maximum building height, adopting the Grade Plane definition from the 2015 International Building Code for presentation at the upcoming Annual Town Meeting. Building Commissioner Robert Borden reported that O'Reilly's Auto Parts will receive a building permit next week.
