Park Commission approves Hitmen Baseball field permit

Avon Park and Recreation Commission approves field permit for Hitmen Baseball. The commission unanimously approved a permit for Hitmen Baseball to use Noonan Field on October 24, 2020, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., subject to CDC guidelines; Chairperson Daniel Hart, Vice Chairperson Benjamin Chapman, and Commissioner Marci Kovick voted in favor, per the October 22 meeting minutes. Commissioners also supported two additional cooking classes in November and December using a family-style format, following very low attendance on recent offerings.
