Designer committee approves $440,000 in fire station change orders

Avon Designer Selection Committee approves $440,000 in combined fire station project costs. The committee, chaired by Tracy Self, unanimously voted to approve eight construction change orders ranging from $1,007 to $29,976 and project invoices totaling $385,037.88 from multiple vendors. The committee also authorized $38,959.47 to W.B.
Mason for fire station furniture including beds, mattresses, and building equipment. Change order COP #42 for apparatus building door closers was tabled for later review.
