Conservation Commission retains Mooney, Mekjian; orders Katherine's Way work

Avon Conservation Commission re-elects leadership and orders Katherine's Way repairs. The Commission unanimously retained Chair Kevin Mooney and Vice Chair Edward Mekjian at the July 9 meeting. Voting 3 to 1, with member John Costa opposed, the board tabled discussion of Conservation Commission Rules and Regulations to August 13.

Chair Mooney will draft an Order of Conditions for the builder at 10 Katherine's Way requiring completion of bank erosion and retention basin work based on prior agreements with the builder.
