Commission approves prior meeting minutes, discusses Bartlett Street project

Avon Parks and Recreation Commission unanimously approves batch of prior-meeting minutes. The commission approved minutes from 11 meetings held between June and December 2022 at its January 10 gathering. Chairman Ben Chapman, Vice Chair Jocelyn Lyons, and Commissioners Marci Kovick and Dan Hart voted to approve; Commissioner Matt Ferro was absent.
The board also discussed the Bartlett Street project, which is scheduled for a vote at the Special Town Meeting on January 28, with construction expected to take 2-3 weeks. The commission acknowledged that the Recreation Director position remains unfilled despite a repost this week.
