AVON — Board of Health approves two local septic system upgrades with relaxed standards. The Avon Board of Health unanimously approved Title 5 Local Upgrade Requests for properties at 27 School Street and 105 Oliver Street, both allowing reduction of required vertical separation between ground water and soil absorption systems from four feet to three feet per state sanitary code. Health Agent Kathleen M.

Waldron reported Avon moved to yellow COVID-19 risk category for the third consecutive week, with vaccine clinics underway at Fellowship Circle and in Randolph. The board will select a new waste hauler at April's meeting after issuing follow-up questions to two vendors.
