Avon library awards Page Construction lobby renovation contract

Avon library trustees advance renovation and staffing priorities at February meeting. Trustees Chuck Comeau and Julie Murray, along with Library Director Ann Fogg, awarded the lobby renovation contract to Page Construction at their Tuesday evening session. The board approved submission of the library's budget to the Finance Committee and Board of Selectmen, and hired Nabila Abdulsalam for the Tech B position.
The library received a donation of six computers from District Attorney Michael Morrissey's office, pending technical review before public use.
