Avon library approves Kanopy video streaming service

Avon library approves Kanopy video streaming service with tiered pricing. The Board of Trustees voted to add the pay-per-use platform, which charges $2 for standard films, $4 for Warner Bros and MGM content, $5 per course for Great Courses, and $5 monthly for Kanopy Kids access. Library Director Elise LaForge reported the library has officially adopted a fine-free policy eliminating late fees on most materials and is exploring additional digital offerings including Creativebug, a crafting-class database.
Future board meetings are scheduled for 2 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month.
