Zoning Board grants variance for monument sign at 275 Bodwell Street
Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of March 10, 2026
AVON — Zoning Board approves variance for monument sign project on Bodwell Street. The Board unanimously granted Sign Design relief from Avon Zoning Bylaws Section 10-3 (E), allowing three free-standing signs at 275 Bodwell Street to be installed 12 feet from the lot line despite failing to meet required clear sight lines from three to ten feet above grade. Chair Carl Walker and Board Members Jeffrey Tibnam, Edward Mekjian, Malik Sabree, and Vladimir Doxy approved the variance contingent on amended permit submissions including revised drawings, a Registry of Deeds receipt, and a plot plan showing the Board's decision.
