Avon Planning Board raises application fee for standalone watershed permits to $750. The Planning Board voted unanimously March 18 to increase the application fee for standalone Special Permit applications in the Watershed Protection District to $750, up from $250, with unused portions returned to applicants. Chairman Charles Comeau said the increase was necessary to cover costs associated with public notice requirements; Board member Charles Marinelli proposed the $750 threshold to ensure full cost recovery.
The board also continued the public hearing for 540 Bodwell Street Ext. to May 20, 2021.
