AVON — Park and Rec Commission seeks level funding for coming fiscal year. The board unanimously approved October and November meeting minutes, with Chairman Daniel Hart, Vice Chairman Benjamin Chapman, Commissioners Jocelyn Lyons and Matthew Ferro present; Marci Kovick was absent. The commission planned joint budget workshops in January with the Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee, and discussed capital improvements including a drainage project and enclosed dugouts at Sylvester Fields, estimated at roughly $5,000, and repairs at the Torie Tot Lot gate.
