Designer Selection Committee approves fire station change orders

AVON — Designer Selection Committee approves fire station change orders and contracts. The committee unanimously approved Change Order #2 totaling $46,914.35, encompassing added wall demolition, rock and soil removal, foundation insulation, and a roof drainage material credit, plus project invoices of $426,804.70. Chair Tracy Self and members Chuck Comeau, Jay Suzor, Alex Sinclair, and Elaine Dombrosky also authorized the Architect and Owner's Project Manager to negotiate with ENE for access control installation at a price not to exceed $54,956.

Construction remains on schedule or slightly ahead despite non-conforming concrete and material availability challenges.
