AVON — The Avon Council on Aging Executive Board unanimously approved December minutes and reviewed January and February programming at its January 9 meeting. Director C. Rexford reported on recent successful events and trips while the board investigated alternative catering vendors and discussed attendance protocols for Holbrook participants and regular attendees.
The board directed Rexford to develop a new driver policy for legal review, discussed potential van-usage fees without reaching a decision, and outlined internal guidelines for out-of-town event signups. Triad programming will start in February on the fourth Thursday, pending further investigation of its law-enforcement relationship.
