AVON — Council on Aging discusses spring programming and grant allocation. During a March 5 Zoom meeting, COA Director Christine Quinn reported that a $4 grab-and-go lunch is planned for March 25, with delivery available for seniors unable to drive. Board members Ed Selman and Nancy Puckett will meet with Quinn to determine how to spend $800 remaining from a Tufts Grant community fund on senior programs.

An upcoming talk by Boston College Professor Robert Savage on the Irish Studies Program is scheduled for March 24, and stress-box creation by Avon Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Amanda Decker is under discussion.
