Avon Housing Authority approves FYE22 budget

Avon Housing Authority approves FYE22 budget with $95,887 state subsidy. Chairman Janet Jensen, Vice Chairman Kevin Edwards, Treasurer Judy Laniewski, and Member Gary Qualter unanimously approved the operating budget showing total revenue of $425,487 against expenses of $446,242. Fee Accountant Rick Shaw reported the authority is in strong financial condition.

The board also unanimously approved a $62,556 financial-assistance workplan amendment and a $7,333.34 payment to Holbrook Housing Authority for management fees, while Executive Director Sherry Guilbault received strong performance marks on her evaluation.
